When you think of Charleston, it's easy to think of the sunny beaches and historic downtown homes, but what people often miss is about an hour inland. The inner Lowcountry boasts curious swamplands surrounded by cypress trees and tall pines. Taking that setting into mind, this luscious styled shoot was created with a focus on rich blacks, deep burgundy, bright red, dark purple, and a hint of metallics. The black hues were found from the invitation with real gold leaf accents and foil to the bride's vintage black wedding dress, matching black veil, and onyx tiara to the tables adorned with skulls and tall taper candles. Burgundy table menus with torched edges allowed a spot of color alongside black vintage skeleton key place cards. Moving from the table, the black carried on to the pleasantly shocking upside down tier cake and the luxurious fur love seat for two at the sweetheart table. The final touch was the unique acrylic welcome sign with tarot card reading nook to welcome you into this alluring swampland.
